What are the goals of cardiac rehabilitation?

Through a controlled and supervised physical exercise, these patients experienced an improvement in their physical capacity and better myocardial performance. This leads in all cases to a significant improvement of symptoms.
In patients with coronary heart disease and undergo a rehabilitation program, has been identified, an increase over 50% survival regarding patients discharged.
There are also better results in the short and long term in patients undergoing CABG.
